Take a bite out of the Big Apple and have a taste of your dream career in “the city that never sleeps.” We’ve taken all the excitement of the Michigan Apprentice program on the road to New York City!  Five Michigan students will win the opportunity to spend a day shadowing some of Michigan’s most successful alumni in New York City. 

Four of these students will spend an unforgettable day with top notch, Michigan alumni for an all expenses paid one-day internship for one of these New York City experiences.

Win an expense-paid job shadowing opportunity

Michigan Apprentice is open to juniors and seniors. Those selected will shadow a U-M alumnus/a for one day at his or her company or organization. For companies located in other regions, travel and two nights of hotel expenses will be paid by the Alumni Association.

The application deadline is Tuesday, March 26, 2008. Get details and apply now for this once in a lifetime opportunity.

• Applications accepted until Wednesday, March 26, at midnight EST.
• Finalists will be selected and announced on Thursday, March 27.
• Finalist interviews will be conducted on on Tuesday, April 1, Wednesday , April 2 . (Applicants must be able to be available to interview on one of these dates).
• Winners will be contacted and announced on Thursday, April 3.
• Winners will leave for New York, Thursday, May 1, to attend a welcome dinner in New York with the Michigan alumni participating in the apprenticeships and New York alumni club leaders. The apprenticeship is on Friday, May 2. The Alumni Association will pay for travel, hotel and meals for winners.
