OAD To Be Discontinued; inCircle Takes Its Place

On September 30, 2004, the Alumni Association will discontinue its Online Alumni Directory service.

In its place, we offer inCircle, the new alumni networking tool exclusively for Alumni Association members who are alumni. inCircle lets Michigan alumni connect online with friends and friends-of-friends based on shared interests, common acquaintances, professions, location, and other criteria. You can also use inCircle to search for alumni you are trying to contact, and you can send messages directly to all users through inCircle.

inCircle offers more flexibility, options and privacy for its users than the OAD. It is a user-friendly program that features all the benefits of the OAD (alumni listings, searching capabilities), plus additional search and messaging capabilities. OAD users will find that inCircle fulfills all their directory needs and offers additional features in an easy-to-navigate program.

To use inCircle, you must be an alumnus/na, a member of the Association and have a University-assigned uniqname and password, which are available to all alumni. To get a U-M uniqname and password, fill out the secure online form at https://accounts.www.umich.edu/create/alumniassoc/.
