Thank you for your interest in giving to one of the many Alumni Association funds. Your generosity and U-M allegiance will help to improve the lives of alumni, as well as bring the best students in the world to Michigan, regardless of socio-economic standing.

You may make your contribution online or by mail, in honor or memoriam of someone or as a bequest. Specific instructions are outlined below. Before you begin, please select which fund you would like to give to. Please feel free to request more information or submit a question at any time. Thank you again for giving back to the Michigan community.

Online
All online donations are submitted through a secure University site and will be routed to the Alumni Association. The online submission form accepts Visa, Master Card, Discover and American Express.

Postal Mail
If you would like to send a gift directly to the Alumni Association, please mail a check payable to The Alumni Association. On the memo line, please indicate the program you would like to donate to (i.e., “Michigania” or “Chicago Club Scholarship”). You may also designate the person you are honoring, if applicable.

Please mail the information to the address below. For Michigania contributions, please indicate “Camp Michigania Gifts” on the envelope. For all other donations, please indicate “Office of Development.” Donations to the LEAD Scholars Fund should include the donation form and can be mailed to the address below.

Gifts in Honor or Memoriam
When gifts are made in honor or memory of someone, the Alumni Association notifies the honoree’s family so they may acknowledge the gifts. You will also receive an acknowledgment, and the University of Michigan will send a receipt for tax purposes. When making gifts in honor or memory of someone, please include the contact information for the individual or family you are honoring. If you do not have this information, the Alumni Association will find the information and contact the appropriate relative.
