| In June 2005 President Coleman traveled to China to help build partnerships
to support U-M’s potential in a globalizing world. Those partnerships
led to this web site, a semi-monthly electronic newsletter, a project
that is updating Chinese alumni data, and social and business networking
events in Beijing, Shanghai and Hong Kong.

Thank you and congratulations to our U-M alumni, students and friends in China for a very successful 2008 series of meetings and events. This 3rd annual University delegation visit, building on President Coleman's historic 2005 meetings, continues to build the UM-China partnership.

As many of our communications will be via email, a major effort is needed to collect accurate information from alumni in China. To support that effort, the Alumni Association asks that you update your University record by visiting the University of Michigan Alumni Record Update Web site.
You are welcome to contact these alumni in China!
