Uniqname and Password Information

To get a uniqname and password, you must know your Social Security number, your Alumni ID number or your Michigan ID number.

• Above your name on most University and Alumni Association mailings (Alumni Association members: Check the yellow box on the mailing panel of Michigan Alumnus magazine)
• On your Alumni Association membership ID card, if you are an Alumni Association member
• By calling the Alumni Association Customer Relations Department at 800.847.4764 (Monday-Friday, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Eastern)
• In e-TrueBlue, the e-newsletter from the Alumni Association. Look for the Welcome box at the top of each issue

To get a U-M uniqname and password or to determine if you already have a uniqname, fill out the secure online form at https://accounts.www.umich.edu/create/alumniassoc/.

If you know your uniqname but not your password, contact the ITCS Accounts Office to have your password reset. Email itd.accounts@umich.edu or call the ITCS Accounts Office at 734.764.8000 (Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Eastern).

Reset Your Password: U-M alumni who are not U-M faculty or staff can reset their password online by using this secure online form: https://accounts.www.umich.edu/create/alumniassoc/.

You should follow the process for determining your uniqname; at the end of that process you will be given the opportunity to reset your password.
